WHO WE ARE
Upcycle was the first studio of its kind in South Jersey. We've been moving together in the heart of Downtown Collingswood, NJ since 2015, offering group indoor cycling, barre, yoga and strength classes all under one roof in a boutique fitness studio setting. We've held classes inside, outside and online, but no matter where we are, our community is at the heart of what we do.
We believe that all bodies are good bodies and that fitness doesn't have to suck. We've always prided ourselves on keeping safety top of mind while simultaneously providing a variety of fun and motivating classes with the help of our amazing team of certified instructors who all bring something different to their classes.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
You won't find us dancing on the bikes or lifting weights while riding in our cycling classes -- all strength work is done off the bike so we can focus solely on the ride and truly connect in with our bodies and our breath.
Our team has the freedom to plan and structure their classes in any way they choose, so you'll find variety of teaching styles (and playlist choices) in all of our formats. Our instructors are not performers or celebrities. We like to keep it real -- no one's on a pedestal here. We're all in it together. We all do the work together.
In order to provide a safe, comfortable environment for all who are attending, we don't take photos or videos in our classes.
If we are having photos or videos taken for our website or social media, everyone in the class will have advanced notice.

One of our dreams when we were renovating our forever home at 716 Haddon Ave was to be able to open our doors to other local, small businesses for events throughout the year. Every year since we moved in, we've hosted a HUGE pop up market on Small Business Saturday, immediately following the Collingswood Holiday Parade. The entire avenue is shut down all morning, there are thousands of people in attendance and once the parade is over, they are all looking to shop! We move all the bikes out of the way and fill both studios with vendors. In years past, we've had huge crowds of wall to wall people in the building shopping our carefully curated lineup of vendors and it's our favorite event that we've dreamt up.
Applications are now open for vendors and space is limited to 16 businesses. We will be closing the application on Monday, October 9th and will curate our vendor list over the following week. We will let you know if your application has been accepted or not by Monday, October 16th. We can't wait for our 2024 market! |
