studio policies
class cancelations:
our cancelation window is 4 hours prior to the start of class.
cancelations are considered "early" if they occur 4+ hours prior to the start of the class you are signed up for.
if the cancelation occurs within 4 hours of class beginning, it is considered a late cancel.
late cancelations result in the loss of that class credit from your account if a single class, class package or membership that is not unlimited was used to book the class. if the class was booked using an unlimited membership, a late cancelation will result in a $15 late cancel fee on your second late cancelation in a 14 day period. there is a grace period, but excessive late cancelations will result in a late cancel fee for unlimited membership users.
we are a small business owned and run by kind humans, so if there is an emergency that is keeping you from attending class, please call, text or email the studio to let someone know.

class waitlists:
some classes do book up further in advance, so we suggest adding yourself to the waitlist if you are interested in attending.
by signing up for the waitlist, you are committing to attend the class if a spot opens up for you.
clients are moved off of the waitlist in the order from which they were added to it.
if you're on the waitlist for a class and another client cancels their reservation up to 20 minutes prior to class starting, you will automatically be moved into the class. if you get that spot and do not show up, it is counted as a no show.
if you're on the waitlist and cannot make the class, please cancel your waitlist spot to leave room for someone else.

we get it: there are a million things that may make you late for class. we ask that you please let the front desk know if you are going to be late so they can alert the instructor and a space can be left open for you. if you show up to a class that has already started, it is a huge disruption if mats and equipment need to be moved or if the instructor needs to help you get set up on a bike. we do have a 5 minute grace period, but after 5 minutes you will not be allowed in to the studio room.

studios are no phone zones.
this one always feels like something we shouldn't have to say until we're in a dimly lit room and someone takes out their phone and starts typing away on a bright screen, so we have to put it in writing. phones are not to be used during class. they shouldn't be on your bike or on your mat. they are extremely distracting for your neighbors and your instructor in class.
take 45-60 minutes to yourself and put your phone in a cubby or with the rest of your belongings.
we love when you tag us on social media, but please do it before or after class, not during.
if you need to use your phone during class, please leave the room to do so.
once again, owned and run by humans who get it, so if you need your phone with you for some reason, let your instructor know.

frequently asked questions
do you offer beginner classes?
we don't have beginner classes on the weekly schedule. sometimes, we offer series of classes for beginners, but our classes are all designed to be beginner-friendly. just let your instructor know you're just starting out - we've all been beginners and there is absolutely no judgement here. take things at your own pace, listen to your body and honor where you are in that moment.
do I need to bring a mat?
if you have a mat you love, bring it with you for class. if you don't, come empty handed and borrow one of ours!
do I need special shoes for cycling?
you don't need them, but we do recommend them if you're taking cycling classes more than just a couple times.
our pedals are all compatible with sneakers or SPD cleats. half of our bikes are also compatible with LOOK delta cleats. we do not rent out cycling shoes because we don't love the idea of sharing shoes to sweat in, but you can purchase your own in our retail shop or we can make recommendations if you ask.
do I need to wear grippy socks for barre?
for barre and barre combo classes, we highly recommend them. why? certain moves in barre require good grip on the floor/mat for proper form and they keep your feet from slipping all over the place, keeping you safe and that's enough of a reason for us! if you need a pair, we always have them for sale in our retail shop (and we typically have a variety of cute prints and colors)!
is there an age requirement to take class?
different formats have different requirements. for cycling, there is a height requirement (4'10) in order to reach the pedals and ride safely given the dimensions of the bike. for yoga and barre, unless otherwise specified (kids or family yoga), classes are typically for those 15 and older. anyone under 18 will need a waiver signed by a parent/guardian.
where do I park when I come to class?
there is street parking available on haddon avenue as well as parking lots near the patco station. there is a large parking lot directly behind our building (under the big blue water towers) and a few walk-throughs to get up to haddon ave.
